CAMPUS VISITORS/VOLUNTEER AIDES

If you have something for your child (a lunch or homework, etc.), please give it to the school receptionist. They will make sure it is delivered to the classroom. Do not interrupt your child’s classroom. If you are a volunteer classroom aide, we ask that you sign-in at the school office and pick-up and wear a volunteer badge while on campus. If you are on campus to observe a classroom for any other reason, you should make an appointment through the school office. When you arrive please sign-in and pick up a visitor’s badge.

ROOM MOMS AND DADS/CLASSROOM PARTIES

Room moms and dads are invaluable. They physically do a lot for the class and they also act as a liaison between the parents and classroom teacher. Sometimes they are asked to make phone calls to parents, organize drivers for field trips, coordinate classroom parties, and help out in numerous ways. There are four major parties during the year – Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Easter and End of the Year. The parties last approximately one hour and are to be scheduled at the end of the school day. Parties are to be kept low key.
