Wear Pink Wednesday
This Wednesday, Oct 18, students may wear pink shirts, bandannas, socks etc. in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  Students should wear uniform bottoms.  Leadership will be hosting a Bake Sale at break and accepting donations for Breast Cancer Research.  Please do not wear inappropriate slogans or logos on any apparel during this day.  We want to honor and support this day and not distract from the meaning.

Jog-A-Thon
Time to get those sponsors.  The Jog-A-Thon in one of the activities that helps raise support for our PTF, and in turn supports many of the programs we offer here at HCS.  Please read through the material and help out in any way you can.... volunteer, donate, help your child get sponsors, etc.  We are looking forward to this fun day.  And if we reach our goal... you could see the dolphin suit again.

Denim Day
Denim Day will happen every Thursday until the end of the quarter.  Students may wear jeans (that are in good condition, that fit properly and without holes) with their uniform shirt on Thursdays (until Nov. 2) for a donation of $5 each Thursday.  This is a way for our leadership to raise funds for activities such as Engage T-shirts, an upcoming Middle School Field Trip to the movies (Nov. 7), and to support organizations such as World Vision and Samaritan's Purse.
